1947 fleetline

Hello, I'm looking at buying a 1947 fleetline aerosedan in the near future.
What are some things to consider in buying one? How is parts availability?
The car is customized with a camaro front end and a 350 with ac.
Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: 1947 fleetline

Put it up on a lift if possible, just to make sure that the Camaro stub was put on right. Also have someone drive it and follow it to make sure it doesn't crab, which would indicate that the stub is cockeyed. It would be nice if it has the Camaro rear end as well. Those cars make pretty decent rods if they're done right. You can still pick up replacement body parts for the 46-48 Chevy pretty easily.
