Has anyone ever heard of this product or used this product. http://www.kemcooil.com/product_info.php?pId=61 It makes some pretty big claims and sounds really good. But anything can sound good on paper. I'm no chemist so those fancy chemical terms don't mean much to me.

I'm not interested in using this in my cars but in my snowmobiles. Having good fuel is a major issue when running two-stroke engines that have modifications and running 100 octane fuel is reccomended these days but, it's very hard to find, especially when you are riding and you are at the mercy of the local fill up stations that may only have 87 octane.

If anyone has any experience with this stuff or any insight as to whether the ingredients within the product would actually do anything I'd appreciate your knowledge.

Chris, I have restored 2 cars that require premium and lead additive for normal hway driving, this product looks like the real thing. The ingredients are exactly what we now use in another brand, oil analysis shows high lead contents in the oil, but this appears not to be a problem. The ratio of mix seems about the same, we use 8 oz to 10 gallons of 89 octane and so far no heavy audible detonation. Price per case is the same, You may want to look at the pistons and cyl walls after some heavy use, to see whats what.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate the feedback. I have a message into the company to see if in fact this product would be ok to use in a modern two-stroke engine. These engines don't require the use of leaded fuels, what would you think? I don't know much about additives, but I am looking for a way to reduce the risk of detonation as that is the major risk I am running into with my sleds. The description of the product says it's great for vintage cars but doesn't limit the use to them.
