1992 525I Sedan Ambient Air Temp Sensor

I'm doing some work on my recent garage upgrade (I got rid of my 95' Mustang GT). The Temp gauge in side the car is reading -35 F. Where is this sensor? Its messing with the Climate control system and AC is a necessity in phoenix. The car was built in March and is a 5 speed.
