Damsel in distress!!!!

Hi there
I'm trying to change the rear discs and pads on shogun and i've got the calipers off and the pads out but the disc won't budge for me to get the old one off and the new one on. Any ideas on what I haven't done please?

Re: mitsubishi shogun

If you're not familiar with how to dis-assemble a braking system it might not be a good idea to do this repair yourself, since it affects not only your life but others around you.

That said, if it's anything like the front disk's on my 90, then you'll have to unbolt them from axles. They're bolted in back (in-board). You may have to disconnect the axles from the differential (circlips inside diff probably) & pull the axles outwards to access the bolts holding the disks in place.
