Question put a computer in my car

is it possible to put a desktop PC in one's car? i have a 15" LCD monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, and a computer system with Windows XP (actually i have several computer systems to choose from, i repair, buy, sell, and upgrade computers). is there any way i could mount a desktop PC in the trunk, plug it in to the car's power, and wire it up to a screen and wireless receiver in the front??

Re: put a computer in my car

Many people do it it just requires some fabrication. Most people pull the guts out of the case and mount them to a board hidden somewhere but still gets airflow and depending on the kind of video card you have you could buy one of the automotive screens that like mount to the headliner and wire it that way. Just takes a little bit of inginuity and time but it can be done.

Yea, its nothing new.

Here are a few examples I stole from various sites

Easiest way is to just buy a laptop and power converter

Armstronglou do not post in threads that have been dead for so long especially when you have no pertinent or coherent information to provide.

Re: put a computer in my car

Why put a desktop PC if you can buy a Laptop? But its still a nice addition because desktop PCs are more easier to upgrade than a laptop.

Closing this before it gets resurrected once again or someone comes in and posts spam messages.
