04 Colorado climate control mode switch

I have a 2004 Colorado, 2wd, inline 4 cylinder. Recently the climate control mode switch seemed to miss a click when I turned it clockwise. It has done it several times since. Now it is out of synch with the mode icons on the dial and has gotten to where it only turns one click back and forth. When it says it is on defrost, it is actually on floor only and will only turn one click back to the left. I don't want to force the knob. Is there a websight where I could find drawings of the climate control mechanisms?

Re: 04 Colorado climate control mode switch

I believe you have a stripped out knob or the switch stem has gone south
