Hello All, Just purchased 1999 Sportage 4X4 to tow behind motorhome. What I would like to find out is the reason for the recomendation to stop and run engine and trans to circulate fluid. Does the trans turn at all when transfer case is in neutral? Is trans. case lubricated with fluid circulated by trans? Or is it the bearings in the trans case that are not being lubed unless the input shaft of same is turning? THANKS IN ADVANCE

Thanks for the reply ,e powers. Looks like I messed up. Only 5 speeds come with a case with a neutral. Are these cases interchangeable? Can a standard trans case be made to fit an auto trans car? If it can I had rather do that than add something like a drive shaft disconnect.
