I have a 1995 Pontiac Grand am and yesterday when i turned on my car it made weird sounds especially when i turned the wheel to steer. I was informed it was my power steering, duh, and so i filled the power steering fluid and it seemed to work until i realized that it was pouring out of the car as i poured it in.

How do i know which line is leaking? i saw the leak but i don't know what it's called. I need to know so that i can buy it and replace it.

Obviously i know nothing about cars but i was able to fix my boyfriends truck on nothing so i have some hope

they are called power steering hoses.

About the only way to find the leak is pour and look,
or hav a friend pour and then look.

They are a pita to get to underneath the car.
Use jack stands if you jack it up :bigthumb:

even with small hands? it doesn't seem that hard to get to. do i need a special tool for it?

You will most likly hav to get under the car to work on these hoses. Use jack stands or a lift :bigthumb:
A line wrench is about the only other special tool you might need, they can be tight buggers to get loose.
