Nope! Never had trouble with mine and it's two years younger! Maybe it's your fault? I mean, do you keep pumping gas after the handle stops? Just a thought! Well, hope you can fix it! HAve you taken it in yet?

Re: gas

I've worked in gas stations for years heres a few tips. Don't shove the gas nozzle all the way in, place it in about half way. Also don't let it tilt down against the neck of your tank. A gas hose as well as your gas tank neck have a vent if the nozzle is pressing against both vents it thinks it's full.

Re: gas

agree - not a problem only with these cars... it happens to all cars (some cars are worse than others, some gas stations are worse than others!)

gas

I have a 96 lxi ( bot used 3 mos ago)and have the same problem. I have to hold the trigger on the lowest possible fill speed or it will keep shutting the flow. It takes 3-4 times longer to fill but I live with it.
