Re: Need RWD Corolla help LEt me know

you will need pretty much a whole GTS parts car. some people say you need the fuel lines, tank, fuel pump from the GTS. ive seen it done with just the GTS fuel pump and all the sR5 stuff. You will need the whole engine harness, and some if not all of the interior harness, The trannies are the same but if you want to change the stronger GTS T series Rear end you will also need the GTS driveshaft, ebrake, and you will want to get the Brake proportioning valve too. The engine bolts right in. Little things you might wanna do if you do get a parts car are to pull the GTS sway bar(thicker), gas tank(just in case), fuel lines(just in case), and pretty much everything you can keep somehwere from the car. Club4aG.com has several very helpgul write ups on swapping in every 4AG including the 20V into an aE86.

Re: Need RWD Corolla help LEt me know

Also if you do not get a rear end the only way ive seen of converting the corolla drum rears to disc brake is to go to the junkyard and go pull some Rear brakes(backing plates, rotors, calipers pretty much everything that is brake related in the rear from an AE92(87-91) FWD corolla with rear disc brakes(there is usally always a GTS in the junkyard). Then pull the drum rears off your axle(backing plates and all) and then just make an adapter plate to fit the disc brake backing plates onto the axle housing. the lines are the same so there you go instant rear disc brakes
