Fast Idle problem

Just got a new Crate engine running and it idles like at 1400 rpms. I checked for vacume leaks and do not have any. I checked the timing and it right at 0. Throt linkage is ok no binding problems. No codes. I have not drivin it yet. I just can't get the idle down. any help would be great.

Is it running on a carb/TBI, or injection? Year make model please. Does it have a computer? Did you set the timimg properly using the computers advance? If it is an 88 or newer chevy truck your timing should not be at zero. With the advance you will be 3 or 4 degrees out. Post back with additional info so we can help.

I got it fixed its a 1989 Chevy Truck 350 engine. I just drove it and after the first Mile the ecm learned and Idle was fine!
