1985 Corolla coupe GT-S

I just picked up a 85 GT-S coupe from J/Y and it is complete down to factory wheels. This car wasn't picked at once as the guy was keeping it whole.

Well the timing belt snapped and that is why it hasn't been driven but aren't these non-interference engines and if so I should be able to put a new T-belt on and crank it up. Granted there may be other problems but I will cross that bridge.

Now I have performed many engine swaps and own 2 civics and 2 accords and a kia (wifes van).
All run and I keep them that way.

So would I be best off just to swap in a 20 valve 4age or get this running. I dig the RWD and the only reason I negotiated with the guy. FWD's are getting a little old although turbo helps.

Anyway what are some recommendations. I learned to drive at the age of 12 on a 87 corolla 4 dr 5sp. so this is kinda cool.

If nothing else I may take offers or sell on ebay as this is a total score with little rust and complete car even still has GT-S on sides.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
