CRAZY O2 sensor

2000 z71 5.3 150k

Check engine light has been on for a while. I've just become used to it. However, now I want to sell the truck and need ot fix the problem right.

Truck runs fine, and when inspection is due I just reset the battery to clear the codes, run some high octane gas with octane booster and the code will come and go...I just get the inspection done during the "go".

Does this sound like a bad sensor, clogged injectors or what? I don't want to replace the sensors if the problem lies elsewhere...If the sensor was faulty, how does high octane gas get it to go off? I'm thinking the truck might be running to lean due to clogged injectors...any advice?

The OBD code was a faulty sensor in Bank 1...no other codes
