99 Silverado engine won't roll

I recently did some work on the rear of my truck, new spider gears, backing plates,p brake shoes, and rotors, and now the truck wont roll when I try to start it.I never touched the electrical although the battery did go dead from playing the radio while working on it so I put a charger on it and it seemed to be fully charged and I even tried to boost it but nothing.I moved the shifter from park to neutral, depressed the brake pedal, but no results.I don't know what else to do other than check the wires to the starter;is there a fuse that I may have missed that would cause this? All the lights work, fuel pump works etc it just wont roll.I even had it started a couple of weeks ago before I started doing the work to it so this is just a mystery to me.Can anyone help?

Re: 99 Silverado engine won't roll

All fixed!! I ordered a starter from the local auto parts store and I figured I'd save myself some time by taking off the old one so I could see just what was involved in the process and I found that the wires going from the brushes to the post on the solonoid were corroded off.One crimp connector, wires too dirty to solder, and a couple of hours later she starts again.I really wasnt looking forward to the $220 for a starter right now.
