I have a 98 Lumina 3.1 that would not turn over when I turned the key. I was able to jump the starter with a screwdriver to get it to start, so I figured it was the starter and replaced it. After I replaced it and it still didn't start, I then figured out the 5 amp Starter Relay fuse was blown. I replaced it and it started fine for a couple of days. After those few days, it now just keeps blowing the fuse every time AFTER I start it the first time with a new fuse. The second time I try to start it I can hear it blow. I tried a 10amp and it blew that too the second time I tried it after it started the first time.

I'm not going to try a 15 or 20amp.
I can't seem to find anywhere on the net where the location of the starter relay is in this car, except that on earlier models it was built into the starter.
The car does have the chip in the key.
Does anyone know why the starter relay fuse would keep blowing and where it might be so I can see if its shorting out or any other possibility?? Thanks
