Skyline pricing

I was wondering how much do you think a 1999 GTR34 with 150,000 to 200,000 miles would cost?

Thanks,
Nate

Thanks,

Your talking about miles not kilometers, right? I can't recall ever seeing a R34 with that many miles on it. In my opinion, I would think an R34 with that many miles would probably run you about $17k-$28k or so.

Don't get me wrong, I am not expert but, from what I have seen with all skylines (especially the R34) people try to sqeeze every last penny out them. You might be able to find one cheaper. I just wouldn't bet your lunch money on it!

Re: Skyline pricing

So what are you saying, the r34 GT-R would be cheaper to buy, import from japan, and pay for the legalization?

No...it would be cheaper to buy an R32 or R33 and import it from Japan. As far as legalization goes...you can't legalize a R32 or R34 since there is no data saying that these vehicles can be modified to comply with FMVSS. From I have read, there are only two companies that are willing to convert a R33. http://www.gnkauto.com and j.k. technologies. It is heard that both of these companies are charging upwards of $25k - $30k for the conversion process.

Man, I could only WISH that was my skyline! It's just one of many pics of R34's that I have found and liked. This is what I want I will just have to wait my turn like everyone else and get the money for it and hopefully catch someone that is selling theres.

Actually your a little incorrect, they can do the nesscery mods but they still can't federaly legalize them. Neither company has been able to take care of the OBD2 issue.

I am almost positive that I read somewhere that the R33 doesn't have an OBD II problem. If I find out where that is I will make sure I post it.

1995 R33's don't have an issue because they have an OBD1 system. 96 and above do because they dont have an OBD2 system built in.

Is that place legit? Also do you need a special permit to drive with the wheel on the right?
