The power window motor on my 95 Lumina Apv went bad and I would like to replace it. I took the door panel off but now I'm stuck. It appears that the motor housing is riveted to the door. Is that right? Do I have to drill the rivets out to remove the motor housing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The rivets are correct. You have to drill and or chisel them out and replace with appropraite size nuts and bolts. When you reinstall the new one, use Loctite or some other thread locker on the bolt threads so they don't shake loose later.

and then used some screws and nuts from my auto part store.. or hardware..
