Good Evening,

I have a 1979 GMC Sierra Grande and am considering a transmission swap. It originally came with a long tail TH350, which broke the housing. If I swap to a 200-R4 from a Buick what all do I need to do? I am considering adding a spacer to the carrier bearing in the middle of the drive shaft in order to straighten it and to compensate for the shorter tail of the 200. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
