Did Toyota ever make a Turbo Corrolla?

Seems like an easy enough question, I've never followed up on Corrolla models so I don't really know... I really don't think they ever did, but my brother, infamous for his knowledge of all things made up, tells me there was... Could he be spouting a line of truth for once in all his existance? I'm leaving this to you guys, who, I'm sure, know a hellovalot more about Corrollas than the two of us know together(made up or not).

Thank you.

I have seen a few Corolla All-Tracs. They're late 80's to early 90's. Not sure if they're turbocharged though. They are wagons by the way.

My '89 coupe RS5 sounds exactly like it has a turbo under the hood.. to bad it doesn't.. Gotta love the sweet sound of a carburetor!

The Toyota Corolla Sportivo turbo was released in Australia, via Sydney in March 2001.

A seven-hour modification process on the wharf in Japan provided the standard Corolla Levins with turbocharger and mechanical changes before they were shipped to Sydney where the bodykit, suspension and wheel package is added in five hours.

There were only 100 of the turbo Corollas built, all gold in colour, on sale in Australia.
