Exclamation Thanks for the memories

Well guys, as of tomorrow evening my truck will no longer be mine. A guy and his son came by and looked at it on Saturday. They were really impressed, the man called me today with an offer and I accepted.

It's sad in a way. The truck's been with me since June of '99. It got me through my senior year of high school and all 5 years of college. It was just time to get rid of it. I'm ready to downsize to a car. Not sure when I'll get my next vehicle, but until then I'll be driving my mom's '99 blue Tahoe with 159,000 miles.

1999 Silverado. Received with 12,500 miles and leaving me with 83,818. I'll miss you girl. Thanks for all the great memories.

Nice truck. Hate to see it go. I'm sure the car will be just as badass.

Re: Thanks for the memories

Thanks for the thoughts and comments guys.

The guy actually didn't get the truck until Tuesday. My mom accidentally grabbed the title duplicate instead of the actual title when she went to the safety deposit box for me. But I got to drive it one last time when I followed the guy to his house. Which conicidentally is in the same neighborhood as my parents, which happens to be where the trucks original owner lived as well. So it's sort of cool that it's still staying close by.

I'll tell you it's very wierd leaving/coming home from work now. The garage is so empty. It surprised a lot of people I not only sold it, but sold it so quickly when it wasn't ever advertised for sale. Bought my friend a 12 pack of his favorite beer as a thanks since I didn't waste any money or time on selling her.

I'll definately be sticking around the forum. The silverado still and I'm sure will always be the best looking trucks on the market. Well, let's hope the new ones grow on us. That tahoe's have, so I'm assuming once I see these guys for a bit they will too.

Have a great weekend yall.
