bad gas?

i just read firedawgs K&N thread and thought i would post this cuz it may be related.i descreened my MAF sensor months ago and had no problems.i then did my K&N cold air months ago and still have had no problems.about a week ago i cleaned the filter and re-oiled the way im supposed to.its not my first K&N.firday and saturday i drove my truck to philly and back (about an hour and a half each way).saturday night a drove my truck about a half hour away and ate dinner.when i got out i tried to drive home and my truck started to bog as if it were flooded and shut off.now it will idle for about 45 seconds at around 450 and then die.as soon as i touch the throttle it dies.i got gas in philly with less than a quarter tank left and drove home, so i know im into the tank of gas, so if i got bad fuel im wonderin y it waited to show up.is it possible that its my K&N oil hurtin a sensor and it just took a week to affect it?
