I have a 90 Corolla I bought from a guy and there was no book with it and nothing that tells me which fuses do what. The guy said the alternator was shot, but it checks out fine. There are 5 blown fuses and I'd like to know what they are for.
You might want to take a look at the autozone.com web site. They provide on-line repair manuals for many cars, including a '90 Corolla. You can click through to chassis electrical for circuit protection information, which includes fuse details.
does it really matter which fuses control what? just replace the ones that are blown. take out the blown fuses and find replacements at a local autozone or car store.

Sorry, I didn't mean to drive like an asshole.
It's not for a daily driver. I want the alternator and EFI fuses and I want to get rid of the rest. I have the dash and everything tore out so I don't want and power going to the guages, AC/heater, radio etc. I only want what's needed to make it run.
