95 Blazer 4l60 interchange

I have a 95 S-10 4X4 Blazer w a leaky transmission.I came across a 4l60 out of a 95 full size (3/4 ton) 4X4 w low miles. Question is: are these transmissions a direct inerchange or is there some differences between the S10 and the full size models?.

If your S10 is a 4.3, you should be good to go. The V8 transmission will fit. I assume you're talking 4L60E - the 4L60 (TH700-R4) went out of production after 1993.
