I have a 97 GTP. recently my SRS light has been staying on after I start the car. It flashes and then stays on. I also have a low oil level light come on . I was about a quart low on oil. I needed an oil change anyway so I changed the oil. The light comes on after I start to drive the car. I check the oil and of course it is full. The service engine soon light is on also. I took it to autozone for a free scan. They said it was a MAF sensor code. Anyone have an suggestions on any of this?

The srs light means that there is a problem with the air bag system. Take it to a dealer or someone with an Airbag capable scanner to see what the problem is. Remember the airbags probably won't work if you have an accident when this light is on. As for the oil light it may be a bad sensor. Remove and clean the contacts on the sensor and the connector and see if it goes away. If not you will probably need to change the sensor. The MAF sensor can be cleaned if you remove it and spray the wires gently with electronics cleaner. You will need a tamper proof torx bit to remove it. Just make sure to allow it to dry and don't touch it. Have the code cleared and the problem should go away.
