What is the easiest way to replace the rear three spark plugs in an '01 Vulcan engine? Is there a trick or is it merely a matter of knuckle scraping?

I have a 98 Taurus with a vulcan engine and no matter how you look at it, its a tight squeeze. Banged my knuckles a bit, but not bad. A universal joint came in handy. Good luck.

"Mechanic Shop." Yup, like the man said, 'discretion is the better part of valor,' so let the technician do it and save your knuckles and blood. I figure my free time is worth a minimun of ten bucks an hour and if I spend my free fun time under the hood of a car busting knuckles and cussing then I better be saving a whole lot of money or to me it simply isn't worth it. Then to, . . . . life it to short to dance with an ugly partner. Get some prices from the Ford place and a few independent shops and you might decide to let someone else fight it.

Or grow eyes in the tips of your fingers like most mechanics have over the years I have found it is easier from the passenger side and just feel for everything. It is not easy, and you may lose a little skin, so as stated previously, your decision.

Most likely yes, check the inside driver door on the Explorer to find out the towing capcity of your Explorer, then check the Buick's curb weight through the same method.
