Re: WTB 2.2 Ecotec motor and auto trans
This is for anyone interested, found an ecotec engine on ebay for a "Buy it now" price of only $600+shipping, so it'd be under a grand. I thought it was a good deal. It only has about 40k miles on it.

Re: WTB 2.2 Ecotec motor and auto trans
For the best deal I would just hit up local junk yards. There are alot of vehicles rolling around these days that use the 2.2 eco power plant. So going through a yard would get you the best deal and save you an arm and a leg on shipping.

Re: WTB 2.2 Ecotec motor and auto trans
Hey man, welcome back. Yeah, that is a good point, definitely will try that first. Like you said before, you see all these people talk about engine swaps and never do them well I'm parting out the 2.2 and I got someone interested in the catback rksport dualies for $350, someone's interested in the kyb's and eibachs for around $400, so yeah soon enough I'll have my starting block. I know this is still just talk until I actually have an engine in my possession but still, that's where the money's gonna go from the parting out parts.
