EGR Replacement Bolts

I lost both bolts for EGR valve. Does anyone know what size and thread the bolts are to replace them. Can't drive Blazer until I can find replacement bolts.

if memory serves me correctly they are 10mm fine thread bolts. i think they are around 2-3 inches long.

Re: EGR Replacement Bolts

I found one of the bolts and matched it up at Advanced Auto with a new bolt.

Re: EGR Replacement Bolts

I don't use bolts anymore, I have threaded stud and nuts to tightenit down.

Hope you installed a new EGR gasket.

Sounds like you've had to replace the EGR a time or two. I've replaced mine once. What's the deal with these anyway. Why does everyone have trouble with them. My '95 Blazer appears to be smothering all the time. It's just sluggish. It runs ok out on the road but when it idles really sluggish. Any ideas. I can't wait to get rid of it. Thanks for any help.

Re: EGR Replacement Bolts

You more than likely have a leaking CPI injector or a nut kit leak.

Do a search for it in the FAQ section.
