fuel fittings

getting them god damn fuel fittings off. I got two of the three off easy... but i been trying to get one off for like 2 hours now. Its the one that doesn't go through the filter, it has a three prong metal clip holding it in place and i tried everything to get them off. pryed them out, in side to side wiggled the line and nothings getting the things off. I am absoutly ready to blow the car up. I know theres a special tool but i never see the guys at work use them so theres gotta be something im missing, anybody pros with these fittings?
im prolly going to have to end up making somehting that prys them apart all at the same time.

o yeah, 98 crapolier
