Waterless Car Wash

Has anyone ever heard of this stuff? There's a couple brands out there and they involve just spraying the stuff on, wipe it, and then buff it out. I was wondering how well these things work and last?

Do you mean wax as you dry?

Maybe maybe not, that stuff is only for after washing.

Really just wanted to say Hi to a fellow soler!

Dri-Wash & Guard and Amsoil are two companies that I am aware of. You can really get into some arguments on this one. The hardcore detailers feel that this type of product puts fine scratches in your paint each time you use it on a dirty car. They think the stuff is loaded with fillers, so until you stop using the product, you never see the scratches. It has been suggested to wash a section of a car that has been treated with these products with alcohol to remove the fillers and all the scratches will show up. Don't have any idea myself and don't plan to experiment. Lots of people use them though.

Thumbs up

Hello Guys,
Giving you a little rundown on the waterless car wash products. I'm one of those hard core detailers, but I like to call myself a Vehicle Care Specialist. There is no secret to the technology of the way Dri Wash n' Guard works, it is a unique and confidential formulation that does work. It contains a Poly-Guard that upon contact with the dirt particles emulsifies them and adds a polish\seaaler to the finish at the same time.
simple application process, just spray and polish. An application lasts about six months but it's good to apply as often as you like, there is no buildup. Scratches, there is no such thing as removing scratches, although if they are fine enough they will just be filled. I have never seen a product and probably never will as good as Dri Wash n' Guard and thats a personal viewpoint. If you would like more info be free to contact me by e-mail.

I have a detail shop & do not recommend the dry wash products. Even though the companies claim the products are so great. You might as well use sandpaper while washing car instead.
