My new Rims! Well hopefully...jcsaleen 07-14-2006, 01:25 AM I'm thinking about these badboys for my 7. Wed's sport SA-70's in bronze. I think I'm going 18 all the way with 8 in the front and 10 in the rear! + I'm might get spacers as well. http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/8927/sa706tc.jpg What do you guys think!? 2.2 Straight six 07-14-2006, 01:26 AM very nice, but make sure they're tucket just up to the arches. make it sit a little lower. enhance the look. Chiquae07 07-14-2006, 01:32 AM ^^^agreed. nice set of wheels. btw, do you know how much each wheel weighs to see if it helps or hurts you? your stock wheels 16s weigh 15.3 lbs, and those weigh 20.8 at 17's..... ec437 07-14-2006, 01:33 AM For a minute there I thought you were talking about the TRUE 7, a BMW 750. But it turns out you were talking about some foolish japanese car:icon16: XeVeNskyLiNE 07-14-2006, 01:42 AM I like my wheels with bigger lips than Angelina but those are nice, got the whole lightweight track look to em. Bronze wheels always look good on green cars anyways. Toksin 07-14-2006, 02:01 AM You realise there's an RX-7 forum, right? ;) 2.2 Straight six 07-14-2006, 02:02 AM when are you fitting the third rotor? Rally Sport 07-14-2006, 02:08 AM Why is this even a thread? Your car doesnt have the rims on em, you dont even have them bought.. C'mon I thought you were better than that. L-Spec 07-14-2006, 02:09 AM 10 in the back!? Unless you're putting down like a gazillion horsepower, I think that's a bit overkill, haha. I saw a Supra with 10's in the back and it looked kinda gay. If you're going 18's, then you're going more for looks, right? I'd say these rims would be pretty damn sweet! What kind of offset are you thinking of? If you're looking for performance, I love the 5zigen FN01R-C. Very lightweight.. My buddy Niall has them on his RWD Skyline and they make one hell of a difference. Either way, they look really sweet, if you're going for looks, it's completely fine, cuz you'll always have your stock rims anyway. 2.2 Straight six 07-14-2006, 02:16 AM 10 in the back!? Unless you're putting down like a gazillion horsepower, I think that's a bit overkill i've seen supras running 14" wides on the rear. L-Spec 07-14-2006, 02:28 AM jcsaleen 07-14-2006, 09:14 AM Why is this even a thread? Your car doesnt have the rims on em, you dont even have them bought.. C'mon I thought you were better than that. Now,now. Take it easy... I wanted some imput on what you guys think? Thats why I posted BEFORE I buy them. Put your :2cents: in or else why would I even post unless I bought them? jcsaleen 07-14-2006, 09:19 AM ^^^agreed. nice set of wheels. btw, do you know how much each wheel weighs to see if it helps or hurts you? your stock wheels 16s weigh 15.3 lbs, and those weigh 20.8 at 17's..... Yea but cornering with 8 an 10's is quite fun. Right now they are for looks. I'm also going with wheel spacers too not big of a gap depnds might only do it for the front. As for the weight, when I do go balls out I prefer my stock rims really the only significant difference rims I had thought about were Volk Te37's and they're outa my budget. In time I will buy Magnesium (17) TE37's I think thye start at 12.9 @ 17 hehe, I'll probably powder coat them white though.. fredjacksonsan 07-14-2006, 09:25 AM Why is this even a thread?
