Saying Goodbye!!
Well a while back I mentioned I was looking to get out of the blazer and into something else. At first I looked at the BMW 330 and the upkeep was just too much. Then I started the hunt for a SS Camaro or WS6 SLP Firebird and I could not find a good one within driving distance. I just about gave up until yesterday when my dealer called me to let me know they got something in I might like.
Well here is my new car!

I know, it is not "new" but it is new to me. It is a 2004 Monte Carlo SS Intimidator Dale Earnhardt Edition. Only has 28000 miles on it, very clean car fax. After adding extended warranty, GAP, and taxes, I was just a tad over $20,000 for the car. They paid off my Blazer so it is now gone. I am going back tomorrow to remove the two 12's, amp, Westin Safari Bar, KC foglights, and JET Module. I am putting the stereo stuff in my new car but the other stuff will end up on ebay I guess.
So I am here to say goodbye Blazer fans! I enjoyed this forum very much and it was always helpful!!!! So what do you guys think of the new ride?!?!

Re: Saying Goodbye!!
You will be missed bud, I am still in debt for the plug wires you help me get.
I will always remember your kindness.

Re: Saying Goodbye!!
My girlfriend has an 04 monte SS, it needs a new intake, a cat back if not full exhaust, its realllly quiet, but its quick enough for daily use. She wanted black but got a red one, It looks good, welcome to the world of zaino.

Re: Saying Goodbye!!
yeah, unlike my Blazer that I spent a few thousand on fixing up (wheels, stereo, exhaust, other items) the only thing I am even considering to this car is changing the SC pulley to a smaller one, adding 25hp. Besides that it is perfect inside and out! I love it!!!

Re: Saying Goodbye!!
Sweet!!! I bought my 2004 Monte Carlo Intimidator - hence the username - off ebay last year 9/22/06. Number 18 out of 4000. 24,000 miles for $18,000.
Just bought my 2000 Blazer with the Trailblazer package for $6300 on the 15th. Wish I would have known about the Fuel Sensor problem beforehand. Guy said it had a full tank of gas. Anyway the truck is in next to mint condition with 92,000.
Keeping the Monte and driving the truck in the winter and if I need to tow anything... got a 17' fiberglass boat lined up.
