2005 Highlander opinions??

My aunt is interested in buying a 2005 Highlander Front wheel drive, 2.4L, 3rd row seat. It's got about 25k on it and they are asking $23,500, the dealer will budge on the price a bit, but not much I think. My main issue is the power of the engine. Does anyone out there have this combination and if so, can it handle the added load of the slightly larger body? Thanks for your time, I really appreciate it.

Re: 2005 Highlander opinions??

I have same but it's a 2004, not much difference. 4 cyl has enough power for most people. You can also look up 4 cyl user opinions on Edmunds.com. Asking price is high for 25k if it's just a basic model. Wish mine had the 3rd row seat, Toyota wouldn't sell one for 4 cyl in my zip code.
