a few things tach and gauges5jgibbs 07-03-2006, 04:05 AM I see those gauges (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-97-TOYOTA-COROLLA-WHITE-DUAL-FACE-HALO-REVERSE-GAUGE_W0QQitemZ330001818187QQihZ014QQcategoryZ4395 2QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)on ebay for 20 or so bucks.. well, they are just for looks.. but they have a nice color to them.. are they worth it. .or has anyone had any experience with em.. an pics?? and second.. how hard is it for a newb to install a tachometer.. i have no idea.. my cluster does not have one, i herd you just wire it in to the ignition coil.. ya.. well.. i am at a loss on how that would ever be done.. what is exactly involved in that. thanks for you help jeremy joykill 07-04-2006, 12:44 AM all you need for a tach install is as follows 1.tach now all you need to do to install the tach is 1.find a mounting point 2.find a good ground 3.find a power source(to go on when you turn your key to the acc position) 4.you might find a good source(power) at the fuse box(just use a test light to determine which turns on when the key does) 5.wire to the negative side of your ignition coil or your tach service connector. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
