I am about to purchase a used 2002 Camry (V6) which was just traded in to a local dealer yesterday, and the best part of it is that it is FLAWLESS. Not a scratch, not a dent, all receipts kept by the owner (1 owner), 19,151 miles, but the one thing that worries me is that there is also a receipt for new tires purchased. Why would you buy new tires way before their time is due? I have read many forums about existing '02 camry tire wear problems and how frequent they are, and I am wondering, should I just get my deposit back and forget about it? I seriously do not want to change tires every 15k miles.

Does anyone know anything about the 02 CAMRY tire wear, or has anyone dealt with this problem in the past w/ an '02 Camry??? I am worried, and do not know how to best handle this. Help?
