My driver side electric window will not open. The only thing that happens when you push the bottun is it (the
button) gets very hot. You have to shut the car off and then back on to get it to cool down. Does this sound like the motor or the switch? Thanks

Well, based off the fact that your telling us about the switch and not the motor, I would say your switch is shot. Take it out and slap a VOM to it and see if its shot or not.

its the switch, happened to my moms 91 EX. One thing, the auto switches are HELLA expensive, so you might just want to get one that you hold till the window goes down. The reason I know is I wanted to put auto switches in my civic for the rest of the windows so I could hit all of em once and be done with it, man that would have been tight
