90 Stanza XE fuel pump fuse keeps burning out (popping)chinoxl75 07-01-2006, 11:48 PM I have a 1990 Stanza XE. I put a fuse number (10) for the fuel pump and when i start the car up it runs and then the fuse pops and the car or course dies. Anyone have an idea what to look for to see why this is happening?:banghead: defrost3 10-31-2007, 03:39 PM Not sure what to tell you to look for, I am currently having the same problem, you can bypass this though by running a wire straight from the fuse box (wrap a wire around the left plug on the fuel pump fuse then plug it in) to the fuel pump sensor under your hood. Not sure what this does exactly, but this is the second Nissan I have had to do that too. Your fuse will still be blown, but at least you'll be able to drive your car. If anyone knows what this (fuel pump fuse repeatedly blowing) is caused by PLEASE PLEASE let me know, this is the second car I have had to "rig" like this to make it run, its very frustrating... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
