Hi, own a 99 Jimmy. My "Service 4WD" light came on yesterday. I have no indicator light lit for selector, normally lit for 2 hi.
Swapped friends working dash selector switch with no change. Checked fuses and all OK. Any help? Thanks in advance.

What engine and transfer case?
I would have another look at all fuses.
If it is getting power and ground go for a scanner code test.

4.3 Vortex engine not sure on transfer case. Since posting I've done about ten trips of which the lght has been on seven of the ten trips. Thinking a faulty sensor??
