Does Lumina Engine Cradle cross reference with 95' Z34 Monte Carlo?derek2134 06-28-2006, 04:18 PM Really need to know... Actually while I am at it, how good of an idea is it to just get the frame bent back " as close as possible" and then aligned by a body shop? I was told this may be no more than $300....Replacing the Engine Cradle is not even going to be possible financially unless I get a junk yard part and more than likely a mechanic on the side, but if the Lumina does cross reference then that vastly increases my chances of finding one in a junk yard... wafrederick 06-29-2006, 12:36 PM Yes it does and will interchange with Buick Regals,Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme,Pontiac Grand Prix and Lumina since they are all "W" bodies. The way you can tell it is a ''W" body is the 4th vin number. You do need a special tool that holds the engine and transmission up on top. maxwedge 06-29-2006, 03:24 PM Really need to know... Could be they must be both 3.4 dohc engines for the cradle to be the same? Assuming that is what is in the 95 MC z34. derek2134 06-29-2006, 06:04 PM WaFrederick: Thank you, that does help alot...But when you mention special tool I am definitely worried about cost. Is the method of pulling the cradle back into alignment worth looking into though? I was thinking about going to see a shop Monday that can do it, but if it really isn't a good idea or cannot get my car back into alignment then I guess I will just try to get ahold of that cradle... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
