I had the same code (bank 1 too rich AND bank 2 too rich). It was very intermittent and would come on but also go off for a while. I found out that it was because of my aftermarket air filter. Since it is an oiled filter, the oil was slowly affecting the MAF and causing it to give incorrect readings. Of course I am not sure if this is the reason for your problem, but it was just my experience.
yea i have a oiled k/n filter also..Dont kno if thats it but it resets every now and than..........I got a real bad floating gas guage also....Have no idea about that one also
yes, my 97 chevy truck and my current 96 yukon gt both have floating gas gauges...well, i say floating, i really mean that once the tank gets past 1/2 full, then it goes up and down fairly moderately, but it definitely moves.
