I am having a strange problem with the factory security system remote on my wife's 98 XLE. It's the 3 button remote that was stock on the 98 XLE. Periodically, when you unlock the door with the remote and then open the door, the alarm goes off. We have to press the unlock button a couple of times to get the alarm to stop. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Is the problem with the remote or the system itself? What was the cure for this problem? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
