Wont Start

K I changed the head gasket on my 96 grand am gt, i had guses auto repair set the timing since i didnt know how but now my car wont start, i even had them double check the timing and it wont start, it ran before i changed the head, i made sure everything was plugged in, i am so lost on this thing.

well this could be many things to factor in here. I mean does it have spark, Is it getting fuel? how is the compression? Most times its generally a ground off someware or a wire or vaccume line not on or cracked

well we checked fuel and its getting fuel, but how do you check for spark on a 2.4 dual overhead cam? since it dont have plug wires.

well I would imagine that almost all cars have a form of plug wires all you have to do is take one off and set it agenst any of the metal on the motor and look for spark when cranking
