Which Rims, tires, springs...!!!!!!!V-Tech 606 08-02-2002, 11:41 PM Should I go for the Tenzo R Mean 6 17" rims or the OZ F1 17" rims? Going with Gunmetal color. Also, which tire do you suggest I use, specially for rough roads. Not looking for racing since in this crappy town you can barely hit 70 without having to slow down for some BS. I´m probably going to go with 205/45. Just looking for good performance for bumpy a$$ roads. Some good Pirelli´s or Kuhmo´s or Yokohama, Falken, etc. Another thing, what kind of springs do you suggest. Not going with an aggressive drop, just like inch, inch 1/2. One more thing, shocks and struts to go with springs, thanx. Appreciate the help, pe@ce out. :alien: V-Tec 606 :badass: AznDragon 08-03-2002, 10:36 PM i dunno about the rims/tires, but i've heard that eibach prokit with kyb adjustables give a pretty nice ride. WonderinAbout 08-07-2002, 02:27 PM Well if your going to replace your factory shocks and struts you might as well get coilovers. They are not much more and they will give you a better look plus the option to change as you please. I was planning on doing coilovers and shocks but I decided on saving my money and just going with rims/tires/springs and then get coilovers when I change my factory shocks. I have heard a lot about Eibach Pro Kit so thats what I'm going to get. But if you do replace your factory shocks go with Koni Yellow adjustable shocks. I've heard that they are the best out there. As for tires I'm not sure myself but I'm going to go with Kumho 205/40/17. Tell me how it goes. smokescreen 08-07-2002, 10:53 PM i'd go oz f1, and if u go 45 on 17s' ur speedo will be off, go 205/40/17. i have kumho ectsa supra 712s on my c5 17x7. and a lot people will tell these are a pretty good tire for the money. good luck strodda 08-08-2002, 05:53 AM definetly the oz's. and like they said, just for a moderate drop, get the pro kit. as far as tires, if you have alot of bad roads over there you might want to get a little thicker tire. i have 17's, and ive been told 205/40, but i got 215/45, i wanted a wider and a little thicker tire. if youre not a racer needing zrated tires, get yoko h4's, thats what i have and they work great. theyre highperformance/all season, so they have good grip all year around, not to mention one of the highest treadwears ive seen.
