Question Random harness in center console

I have a 97 rodeo, and in the center console there is only one switch (power mirrors). However I remove this console this week to clean it and found a second harness that does nothing. I did test the harness and it is getting power when the ignition is on,
Anyone know what this extra harness might go to?
or Anyone have another switch in their center console besides the power mirrors?

It is likely for the heated mirror option. If you can find a switch and mirror glass with the heater elements in them you're all set.

Re: Random harness in center console

I noticed it to, when I removed my console to tighten the emergency brake. I too have an auto and power mirrors.

I dont know if its the same in 1st gens but I know the cruise control box is under there in 2nd gens. There is also another box in mine but not sure what it is. If you dont have cruise and it mounts in the same place that might be it. Just a guess.
