1998 VW Passat Tranny Jerks! Problem with Tranny? or Engine?

I have a 98 Passat, 125k miles, Tip-Tronic Tranny, and it shifts very smoothly, but when I drive it normally on city or highway and quickly reliese a gas pedal it jerks, doesn't matter which gear I am in or speed.

And I'm not sure what's causing the problem, something wrong with engine? or tranny?

If you have any suggestions let me know.

Thanks
