help! car is ticking when you turn onlykyle2blue 06-09-2006, 04:09 PM any ideas? it's a 92 legacy auto himie298 06-22-2006, 09:59 AM you need new CV's, or half shafts, (same thing) Autozone life time warrenty. about $70.00 . about Half hour a side. Just jack up front end put in jack stands. remove wheel , remove big axel nut. remove cotter key on ball joint , remove nut. use a big pry bar and pry a frame down and off. Now you get to swear drive the roll pin out next to the transmission, ya its a pain the the *** but you can do it. Pull the rotor away from the car and hit the axel with the handle of your hammer and pop it out and pull you half shaft out. now just reverse what you did dont forget to dent the axel nut and a new cotter key and drive away . you should not need to get an aligment. good luck himie Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
