Inside the hard line that goes from the condensor to the evaporator.

What is the air cond doing or not doing? Why are you looking for the orfice tube?

My A/C crapped out on me . I have installed new comp. and drier and wanted to locate the orfice tube to see if any trash which I'm sure there will be. Should I be allright if I clean the hoses real good and presure it up.

A good flush and make sure you get the proper amount and right oil in it and the proper freon and charge in it.
Also pull a good vacume on system before recharge.
Here is some stuff you will need.

Re: Orfice Tube

An easy way to get to the orfice tube on that truck is to remove the front right blinker. It should have four phillips head screws that hold it on located on the exterior of the truck. Behind it there is a hard line coming out of the condensor with a coupling. Im not sure what side of the coupling it is in but once you get that hard line open it should be right there just inside one end of the line.
