M635 SI board Swap

I have a re-manuf. SI board on the way to me, but need some help with swapping it out for the old one with "I think" a leaking battery . Lack of Temp gauge and jumping Speedo and non restable SI lights make me believe thats that case. Any articles, advice or instructions for this project? Also any one have luck with Aluminim control arms? upper and lower? I have seen some on E-bay with upgraded bushings, looks interesting. Thanks in advance
