Short Ram for more HPstrodda 07-29-2002, 04:25 PM i didnt know, but according to aem's site, shortram intakes give a bigger hp increase. what happened to all the hype about "colder air, more hp"?? why are cai's so damn popular if they dont produce as well? for example they tested a rsx. with a cai-4.7hp, shortram-7hp(max gain) Duatone 07-29-2002, 07:45 PM From what ive heard, ram air is good since it forces more air, but, cai are better for horsepower since you only get 1 whopping hp from every 10 degree difference in air temp that you are taking in. This from the "Honda Builder's Handbook" I guess it just depends on your setup. But since we have such small one-cammer-jammers, a lot of the higher hp increase results are from bigger motors, or ones with turbos. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
