97 Ls Ac

well I've done everything to this 97 LS 135K that has ever been posted and have never needed a real mechanic to help me out thanks to all of you that respond to these calls for help. Thanks again.... I figured its about time to have an AC issue. I'm blowing cold air, but it use to be alot colder. You know how when you flush the heater cores on these things you can fry an egg on the dash I want to freeze when the ac is on high. I know these systems can kill you if you screw something up so I figured I should ask. can I top off the refrigerant? I have the fancy hose that attaches to the bottle of 134a and the low side port, but how do you know when it is full?

thanks

Go to your local auto parts store and buy the $12-15.00 gauge that will tell you if you gas pressure is hi or lo. Hook it it to the low side port before the accumulator by the fire wall.
I bought a kit last year that had the gauge plus a 16 oz. bottle of R134a with 2 0z. of oil in it plus gasket (o-ring) conditioner.
The kit is made by Interdynamics (I think), and it was $29.00 (Autozone, Advance, O'rielly, etc. carry these kits.
