I have checked the fluid levels and all external parts and everything is intact. I can start out in 2 high but after a bit when I stop I have to put it in 4 low to get it to move and have to leave it there or else it acts like its in neutral. Any ideas?

Any suggestions would be very helpful, short of replacing my tranny or transfer case, unless I absolutely have to. Thank You.
